Spring is always a busy time for the CHEI team. During 15 days of traveling around China in April, we conducted two successful regional teaching forums in Shenyang and Nanjing with more than 180 teachers, and 15 school visits in Beijing, Tianjin, Shenyang, Hefei, Wuhu and Nanjing that included 18 demo classes presented to over 1,600 students.
This semester, CHEI accomplished 71 guest lectures for 70 schools and 38 field trips for 39 schools. All of the speakers and hosting hotels received overwhelming appreciation from the schools.
This past week, CHEI was presented with the World Travel & Tourism Council's Tourism for Tomorrow People Award during the 17th WTTC Global Summit in Bangkok. Award submissions were judged by a panel of independent experts, academics, business leaders, and NGO and government representatives.
