Aligned with guest lectures, CHEI offers field trips to hospitality venues, such as large hotels, during the spring and fall semesters. Field trips are arranged by CHEI and are often held at a guest speaker’s workplace. During the field trip, students and teachers experience a behind-the-scenes tour and gain knowledge about career opportunities, hospitality operations and how departments collaborate to provide exceptional customer service. Guest lectures are also presented and employees share personal day-in-the-life stories.
